Loft conversion and Refurbishment, Bates Road Brighton

Day 11/12 - The floor is insulated between the new joists, as the ceiling below is being over-boarded with fire check plasterboard we don't need to lay chicken wire to gain 30 min resistance (required with original lath and plaster ceilings to stop the insulation falling through in the event of a fire).

The first fix plumbing & electrics have been completed at floor level and we are ready to lay the chipboard flooring.
