Loft conversion and Refurbishment, Bates Road Brighton

Day 19 - We finish insulating the loft space with celotex and thermal blanket to meet current building control regulations.

Before we start plaster boarding we fit treated battens across the joist work, this creates a gap between the ceilings and walls in which air can circulate and keep damp from affecting the boards.

we're now ready to start plaster boarding the internal walls.
